2026 Primary Election Countdown

Voting in local elections is one of the most powerful ways to influence your community because the decisions made at the city level affect our daily life. Your ballot carries weight, so get out and exercise your right to vote. You can Vote By Mail, Vote Early, or Vote on Election Day. Voter Registration

Are you registered to vote? One of the best ways to get involved in local government is by casting your ballot to have a say in who is leading our community. You must register to vote or update your party affiliation by the following dates:

 

Primary Election Registration Deadline – Monday, July 20, 2026.

General Election Registration Deadline – Monday, October 5, 2026

Who are you voting for? Researching candidates before voting ensures your ballot supports someone whose values, experience, and vision align with your own. Sample ballots will be made available as the election gets closer.

Election Dates

When is the 2026 election? A primary election is held 11 weeks before the general election. The primary election is for the purpose of nominating party nominees to be voted for in the general election to fill an office. See important dates below.

 

Primary Election Day – Tuesday, August 18, 2026

Early Voting Dates: August 8-15, 2026

 

General Election Day – Tuesday, November 3, 2026

Early Voting Dates: October 24-31, 2026

Polling Locations

Do you know where to vote? Osceola County voters must vote at their assigned precinct location on Election Day, according to Florida law. For early voting or to drop off vote-by-mail ballots, Osceola County will have multiple locations.
